La Calahorra is a municipality located at 3710′44″N 33′44″W in the province of Granada, Spain.It is situated in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Built between 1509 and 1512, it is one of the first Italian Renaissance castles built outside Italy. According to the 2009 census, the town has a population of 800 inhabitants.(WP)

Thank you William. It is built at the foot of Sierra Nevada National Park (Granada) and it is sorrounded by beautiful almond groves. Very nice landscape in spring.
